The ceiling construction is particle board nailed on to the rafters and joists, with about 1/4" of plaster on top of that. Most of the ceiling has already come down, but about 40 sq feet are still up and sagging badly. There is a knee wall on the sides of the room where you can feel the plaster sagging as well.
